Flowers of Berkeley Park #2

This clear mountain stream is from snowmelt that is still above until mid-August. The flowers along side it are Sitka Valerian(white), Lupine(blue), Mountain Heather(pink bush), and one Magenta Paintbrush. The second photo is a little further down the trail. God really knows how to plant a garden, doesn't he. In addition to the above flowers this photo contains Mountain Bistort(small white puffs), the seed pods of the Western Anemone(big grayish puffs....the flowers bloom much earlier as the snow just begins to melt) and Snow Buttercup (yellow). I don't know what the daffodil-shaped buds will be...my guess is Yellow Bell.
