This lovely rescued donkey is from the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada in Guelph, Ontario. These donkeys are so beautiful! They are much more calm, affectionate and also can be very moody and ornery! They will let you hug them if they like you. I prefer donkeys to horses because they just have more character and I vote character or surface beauty!

Artist Reply: Hi Blonde! I agree! Thanks for your post! They are much less skittish than horses! They are pretty comfortable with being pet or even hugged, but they can get grumpy suddenly! They are patient and smart problem solvers too!
