Still Life With Milk Bottle and Bittersweet

This was a studio study done from the still life in oils, alla prima ( in one session ). The day outside was grey and rainy and the only light used was pure North Light coming wanly through the skylights. Painting depicts an antique milk bottle, a plate, a small brass or copper brazier, 3 lemons and some bittersweet berries on a cloth. Lots of brushwork.

Very skillful brushstrokes. I admire the freedom and energy in your lines because im usually into precision form. Well done!
