The 3d printing metal technology is beings used for many manufacturing fields such as aerospace and automotive industry for processing and designing very big metal sheets. Prosthetics are also being made using this technology. There are many other fields where 3d printing metal technology can be used such as in jewellery making, sculpture making etc.
