Your colors are superb Special style of work, I enjoyed so much. This is Magically intense and I love the golden sparkle you added to the handles. So Dreamy, Like Cosmic Coffee

Artist Reply: John: this was a fun piece to do. I love coffee and this is in a local coffee house where my son and his family live in California. My wife is a tea drinker, so I thought this was the perfect suject to paint. I'm glad that it speaks to you. Have a good week. Best regards, Will

You really have an incredible talent, Will!!! This piece of Art is simply breathtaking!!! So many details and such a great precision! Fantastic!

Artist Reply: Marie-Claire: thanks you so very much. This is one of the first pieces that I did on the Dura-lar polyester film. I really do think that using this instead of more conventional papers allows me to render the detail in such a realistic manner. More materials used than talent! Have a very nice weekend. Best regards, Will

I think this one is my favorite.

Artist Reply: Jessica: thank you very much. I too like this painting and I also am a big fan of coffee! I think that I some how missed replying to your comments when originally posted. I'm so sorry for that. I certainly did not want to give the impression that comments don't matter to me. They certainly do and I always appreciate them. Best regards, Will

Cool, Will. Loved them all! You know I hang out clothes all the time! Cheryl

Artist Reply: Cheryl: thanks so much for your encouraging comments. I'm sorry that I have not replyed before now. I just miss your comments. By the way, I just signed on with Corner House Gallery and Frame to represent my work. Not up yet. They are playing with how to most effectively frame the pieces. Thanks again for your support.

Great job...Love it

Artist Reply: Bill: Thank you so much for your much appreciated comment. I must apologize for not replying in a more timely manner. I must have missed your comment some how. I really do appreciate all those members who take the time to view my art and to comment on it. I did not mean to slight you in any way. I have looked at your work and really like your landscapes. Both in oil and the pastels. I started off using pastel pencils and then moved to colored pencils to get the high level of detail that I try to always achieve. This probably stems from the fact that prior to retirement, I was a gross anatomy professor for 31 years. Once a detail man...always a detail man! Thank you again for your comments. I'll look forward to keeping in touch through our art. Regards, Will

I don't want to give the impression that comments don't mean anything to me. They most certainly do. I will not let this happen again. I have also looked at your work and I find the pen and ink images very well done and extremely creative. You certainly do have a sense of humor! I look forward to keeping in touch through our art. Best regards, Will

Like your composition and the way in which you use your colored pencils. Very Nice work.

Artist Reply: Thank you for you comment. The Grafix matte surface film makes using colored pencils quite easy. If your an artist, you should give this surface a try.
