Suburban Michigan Parking Lot At Sunset

I took this with my Canon Power Shot 950 IS Point and Shoot, which has since died. I thought it had some possibilities for an HDR image. I think that this has convinced me to purchase a $100 11.5 hour course in HDR photography. I missing too many techniques to enable me to produce better images.

One Beautiful capture Stanton.. Looks like a storm is about to rain on your parade.. LOL.. Joanie Holliday

Artist Reply: We were on our way back to my cousins home after it had rained on our young nephews baptism on the in Sterling Heights. The sun was beginning to set and I was mostly interested in the clouds after the storm which creates what is called a fractured sky which is a result of cold unstable air following the storm front. A bit of weather info for you.

What a gorgeous moody sky! Wonderful photo!

Artist Reply: We encountered a lot of unusual whether on this trip. There were a number of freak storms and tornados and tornado warnings. I also like the intensely saturated colors in the store fronts and cars in the parking lot. I wish there was a little more of the interior lighting to bring out, but it was an early Sunday evening and and all the stores were pretty much closed.

it looks great to me and I see the HDR "look". I think you are doing fine with it!
