So many changes are coming. But it all started back in May, not too long after my wedding, that I got laid off. Fortunately, I was given 90 days to find a job. So it's a scary situation and I haven't landed anything yet, but freelance has been good and I'm very hopeful things will work themselves out. What's cool is that I feel my work has has a resurgence in creativity. I've been doing more experimenting which has gotten positive results.

We're on the dawn of a brand new year. All I can think about is how much I want to rededicate myself to illustration. I focus so much on graphic design that I have neglected my first true love - a pencil and paper. This will be a new year's resolution that's sure to stick.

It's been fun these last few weeks to get back into updating my artwanted page with more than just paid projects, but also sketches and personal projects that just reflect what I'm thinking these days. Sometimes you get so caught up with utilizing your computer you forget your first tool was a simple pencil.
