This project was designed for singer/songwriter Adrina Thorpe. Our initial conversation revealed she wanted to use the title of her album as a basis for the art direction of her album art. The music itself is a journey between darkness and light, so it was a bit of a challenge to balance those two concepts and still make it look full of hope. My original idea and treatment consisted of vibrant colors and a sort of collage look and feel, but the initial comp I put together (which led to what you see here) won her over.
