Diamonds in the Rough

There is a very popular ski resort 36 miles miles from our home and we hike or snowshoe a few trails in this area year round. Yesterday we decided to hike to Henskin Lake, a small alpine lake a little over 2 mi. from the resort. At the beginning of the hike we ran into this Lupine holding raindrops that sparkled like diamonds. We both thought this was cool!!

Lupine I wondered what that looked like and now I know I have seen it before. This Is so amazing, worth the whole hike to get a shot like this. In God we trust, seven leaves the number of perfection. They do look like diamonds.
