I used to sit amongst the blue birds song The Summer breezes had come and gone In my porch swing world I used to stay Until the set in of a cold Autumns day This is when my entire world would change Just from a gift that seemed so strange It appeared wrapped with a satin bow A single orange rose with a golden glow I thought to myself from whom could this be?
