Latino Beauty

Latino Beauty. This is dedicated to all my Latin friends and especially from Mexico and Central America who tend all these roses for the eyes of those who care to look and not dig into the dirt. QUOTE....I'D RATHER HAVE ROSES ON MY TABLE THAN DIAMONDS ON MY NECK...QUOTE BY EMMA GOLDMAN. copyright by Michael Forbus

is this rose upside-down too? ao

Artist Reply: No, they are just hanging heavy on the bush. Perhaps you might try standing on your head and looking and see if looks more accurate. Michael

This is gorgeous, Michael

Artist Reply: Renata, it is for my Latino family, the colors are for them and the rose is for the Braceros Blood that is spilled. I am glad you like it. It means so much to me. Renata, you are very kind to comment. miguel
Artist Reply: Renata, always the kindest words flow from your mouth like honey from a spiget. My whole studio is filled with your words. They float like delightful pollen from sweet blooms from Venus. miguel.

This is perfectly designed in th Latino style....I remember many homes in the area where I grew up and watched them carefully tend a menagerie of plants that blossomed so beautifully and surrounded the ever present statue of the Virgin Mary.. Thank you for bringing those rich memories back to me Of such a loving people!

Artist Reply: I have always had a saying to my Latino friends who there are so many of in many countries and this one as well. I have worked beside such talent in the culinary field and the one thing they used to say to me is miguel how come your were born a Guero....that is a white man for the uninitiated and I would tell them my ass is in the states but my corazon will always be in Mexico. It is a statement about the deportment of the backbone of the workers of this country. I have had many races of people work for me in many places and no one was so interested in learning and working hard as my Latino family. So it is with love that I remember them and I am saddened by the way they must be treated. Starve in their own country or sneak like thieves to this. The honesty of the Latino has to do with saving face in family and God, not fear or reprisal. so this is for my Latino family and one special woman who has woke me from a deep sleep. miguel
