New Square Books plus Bonus Book Upgrades

We are excited to announce a handful of new upgrades for our book publishing platform! These upgrades include: a new square format book, image captions, full bleed option and more! These new upgrades are a direct result of requests from our members.

1- SQUARE BOOK FORMAT – We are now offering a new square 8.5” book size! This size joins the lineup of our existing vertical and horizontal books. This square book size is perfect for artists with mostly square artwork, but will look great with any size of art. Our square books are the same cost as our other sizes and can be printed in softcover or hardcover.

2- IMAGE CAPTIONS – We now offer the ability to add a custom caption under each of your book images. The caption can be the artwork title, year created, brief description or any other text you want to display under the artwork. This is an optional feature, but we have had many artists request this, so we have built it for you.

3- FULL BLEED OPTION – Some artists want to create a book where their images are printed right up to the edge of the page. This is referred to as a “full bleed” page in the printing industry. We now offer this option for each size of our books. With our full bleed option, we will trim 1/8” off each side of the page, so your artwork is printed right up to the edge of the page.

4- IMPROVED IMAGE IMPORT – We have made several upgrades to how you import your book images. This process is now faster than ever and we automatically sort all your images by the name of your files, so you will spend less time sorting your images.

These new options are all available in our book builder area, which you can visit anytime from your Control Panel.
