Ferns among the redwoods, Northern California Redwood Forest. The coastal redwoods are native to a thin coastal strip in northern California and southern Oregon; most are preserved in state and federal parks. From an original population of an estimated two million acres, less than 4 percent of the trees remain.

Like a step back in time :) Excellent capture and concern for them is a must. Let us hope that we preserve them. Only we can help them survive !!~******~!!epsylon lyrae 21 Mar 2006
