“Summer by the Pond” collection depicts the wonderful summertime by the pond in the valley at the Evergreen Bricks Valley Park and trail in Toronto. Nature empowers us. Every human seeks the outdoors to feel the breeze, take a deep breath, sniff a flower, be inspired, relax our mind and boost our mood. We enjoy being in the nature, throw a stone in the pond or river, sit by the pond for a pick-nick and bite in a sandwich, listen to music or dance. “Summer by the Pond” collection expresses a music and dance, and la joie de vivre (joy of life or dolce vita) like a music note opens the dance floor with a rumba. The Rumba “C” is a tribute to the rumba Congolese that I learned when dancing with my mother in our living room, and which plays in my head while I envision the music note like a decadence of colors and flowers on a canvas. Overall, “Summer by the Pond” collection is a celebration of nature with a music that each human can imagine.
