G'day all! ^^ I'm a 20 yr old gal from down unda Australia who er, just happens to be a member of ArtWanted... XD I've been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil, although of course not usually on paper... (just ask some of the walls and furniture in my house... ^.^;;)I only started drawing seriously in 1999 though, when I discovered Neon Genesis Evangelion and was so hooked that I decided I wanted to teach myself how to draw things 'properly' instead of paying no attention to proportions, colours and the like. As it is, I've received no formal art training and I've only ever relied on reference pics, experimentation and gut feeling - an amateur artist right from the start, and still am! ;)

Five long years later, my style has gone through too many changes to list, and who knows when it will change again? It's like a gypsy who keeps packing up and moving somewhere else... and I'm so unfit that I can't keep up. XD *Bah* Well, I've still kept some of the anime influences which inspired me in the first place, but I don't follow the set conventions of anime style. Expect to see plenty of light sources in my art because I'm a fanatic when it comes to making things look glowy (hence suggestions from blinded people to tone things down... ^.^;;), and all my artworks, unless otherwise noted, are hand drawn, inked by hand with an ordinary Artline felttip and the main subject matter coloured with Prismacolour pencils. Backgrounds, extra lighting effects and editing are all done in Paintshop Pro 5, and I'm now starting to experiment with digital colouring in Photoshop CS.
