I work in low fire ceramics, specializing in tiles done in low relief, and painted portraits. I own, breed and show Pharoah Hounds. We lure course in the spring & summer. I work on 4 and 6 inch tiles and larger- doing portraits, memorials and trophies. Relief tiles are built up in clay, carved, underglazed & fired to bisque. Final glaze colors are added and fired again, making a very durable piece. Trained as a graphic artist & jewelry maker, I've always enjoyed working in clay. This is a great combination of the two.
