Artist Bio

About myself Originally an engineer with a Master's degree from Belarus, I have since become a Payroll and Accounting Manager in Canada. My hobbies include art, museums, travelling, architecture, sculpture, and French language and culture.

I have been exploring my artistic side since 2009. I like to use a mix of materials–oil, drawing, pastel, and watercolour. Most of my paintings are done using palette knife painting and impasto as Van Gogh’s characteristic style of thick textured paint. When travelling, I do quick sketches with pencil and watercolour while sitting at small cafes and plazas. As I plan my travels, I like to read interesting stories and legends about streets, habitants, artists and cities itself as it makes my visits and, consequently, my art, more inspired and full of life. In the past 10 years, I have visited more than 100 cities and villages in France, Spain, Italy and Germany.

In my art, I am influenced by Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Borromini, Bernini, and Leonardo da Vinci.

News _in July 2016 I became a Student of London Art College, within a certificate program for Oil Portrait painting.
