I am a navy wife and the mother of boys, 3 dogs, a cat, a chameleon and a turantuala. I did a picture a few years ago with some of my kids chalks and it turned out really good. I thought it was just a good day and for years didn't think anything of art until moving to Victoria, BC where I discovered so many art stores and these chalks called pastels. I was quite amazed and have just begun experimenting with the medium. I love it.
