Personal vision

Claude is a self-taught art painter, having the desire to try anything new (curious by nature) to experiment and achieve what he likes best. His passion for drawing and painting on various media has so emerged since his early youth and has evolved since. Having an engineering background, Claude has pursued his passion for creating his works at the same time as he manifested personally in a long and fruitful career in the field of technology management.

Now retired, Claude gives himself passionately to his youth found passion. He creates with great satisfaction acrylic paintings on canvas, allowing him to express freely his interior feeling of well being when concentrated by his creative passion.

Having worked with various media, such as water-colors, pastels, oils, sculptures and mixed media, he now concentrates particularly on acrylic paintings on canvas. Achieving various living subjects from nature, in stylized floral and landscape subjects, allowing him to express his realistic vision of life.

"Art arises when the secret vision of the artist and the manifestation of nature agree to find new shapes"-Kahlil Gibran A State of suspension in time "When I begin to express creativity through my paintings, what I find inside is more valuable than the canvas that is produced and left for posterity. And this canvas reminds me the intense feeling I experience--a feeling of freedom and happiness through the conscious contact with God, in a place in time where time is frozen and in suspension. Through creating a canvas I know that what I find inside is more valuable than what I produce for the external world."

Being alone but not lonely, is my way to express the great feeling of enjoying life at that moment, and only for that moment, not being dependent on any human presence to satisfy my insatiable need for love.

The present moment is really all that exists for sure and is true reality. Yesterday and tomorrow are only memories of being rejected, left alone, abandoned not being loved by another human being, are also thoughts of ego. It is only in the present moment that

God takes over, and has infinite love for me.

When I rely and depend on God I never feel alone, I never feel not loved, I never feel abandoned, never feel rejected, because here and now is when

God is close to me.

For with the insatiable need of love that I have, only God can fill it properly and with greater satisfaction than any human can or ever will.

Yes. as you see in my paintings, I experience through creativity these great feelings. I find myself meditating and talking to God while I paint and create, it gives me that great sense of leaving a part of me to stay here long after me, a sort of contribution to near eternity. It is a very great feeling, a feeling that I rarely experience when I let myself become, in my mind, a victim of another persons behavior. Whenever I give this power to humans I do suffer, but when I recognize the true power that God has over my life and my inner well being I am never disappointed.

Painting gives me great satisfaction, a satisfaction never equaled by any other mundane activity. A sense of having contributed to the numerous collections of passing the message of love, through the expression of that peaceful inner feeling of tranquility and of truth, my paintings reflect the sense of truth and inner peace that I have the pleasure of experiencing. Truth is beautiful and is beauty and so is peace.

When I create my paintings, I feel that I am in a state of conscious contact with God in a sort of state of being suspended in time, and as though my brush is an instrument for me. I become the instrument of God to pass the message of love and beauty to the world in my small and humble way.

God has created the reality that I am imitating so amateurishly on my canvas.
