I am blessed to be a artist and I work in many mediums including painting, pastels, collage, photography, digital design, and three dimensional wire sculptures.
All the photographic images are shots I have taken. Using my skills as a graphic designer, I have enhanced these images to look more like paintings than photographs.
As an artist I strive to utilize my talent and creativity in new ways. My impressionist style is apparent in all my work.
I love working with handmade paper. My collages are all made from torn paper with no preliminary sketching. I like using mixed media as well.
My wire sculptures, called "Dancin' Wires" combine whimsy, movement and color. They are made from flexible wire, stained glass, colored wires, beads, polished rocks, crystals, marbles and ???? They turn at the slightest breeze. No two are exactly alike.
I served as a Arts Commissioner for the City of Covington for several years.
I've exhibited my work locally and even won a couple of awards!
I sell my Dancin' Wires at Saturday Markets and local festivals.
I am overwhelmed by all the wonderful comments I have received since I began submitting my work.
