Ceccon started painting in 1990 after seeing the painting “The Tea Cup” by Jackson Pollock being discussed on television show. Soon after, he began painting. He educated himself by reading, and visiting museums and galleries. Peter attended the Art Students League in New York City from 1999 to 2001. His instructor was Larry Poons. In 2003, Ceccon began showing at the Piermont Flywheel Gallery in Piermont, New York. Peter lives and works from his home in northern New Jersey. In addition to painting, collage, he has begun to experiment with video and sound. He is currently employed in the automotive industry.
