Where to begin? I am Pedro Ramirez, I was born in 1984 and began ceramics in 1999 due to being unable to afford the fee to take photography. Im glad I did! After making a few pieces I got really serious with ceramics and decided to make it my livelihood in 2004 when I began taking it up in college and making The Butterfly People for a living.

The Butterfly People are not ceramics, they are made of polymer clay but are still sculptures, they are crafty, but so much more than that, each one is a work of art; a one of a kind piece that is sculpted with my hands and the use of needle tools.
