Comments Wanted

Hello everyone, I've been posting my artwork on artwanted.com for several years now, but this is my first time to use the message board. I would very much like some comments left on my artwork pages. WARNING: I draw "pin up girls" only. Yes, they have clothing on, but some people do not like such artwork. I hope to draw enough pin-ups to one day start printing some calendars to sell, but I'm not always sure if my artwork is good enough to where anyone would really want to buy it. Great work but I love witches. The only comment I have is that the image is a little flat. Possibly more contrast or sharper definition of the background.

My style of doing art might be a little different from others. I like to somewhat mute, fade, soften or flatten my backgrounds, so it might be slightly out of focus, much like in a photo or on TV or film. I try to focus on the main object in the foreground as being in full detail and as nice as I can make it. So my backgrounds are just there, but not a lot of attention to detail, kind of faded out. I also soften my colors a lot, that's just my style.

I noticed the proportion of the hips and legs are off verses the upper body, and it doesn't appear to see it on your other artwork.

Nice work. digital? Pin ups are fun, and you can always have calendars printed up.Why not give it a shot? The hard part is the marketing/selling. My only critique is that the angle of the upper body looks a little off in relation to the lower half.
