Oh, Lillian, I am so sad to hear that Kate passed away. I am still in schock also I new she had a severe cancer. She told me about that from the very beginning of her disease. We were writing each other very very often and I dropped her a line last week because I had no news from her. Lynn, Beth, and now Kate. This is hard to loss our AW friends. Even if we do not know us "in real", we are friends like pen palls can be. Kate was a wonderful photographer, a great artist, and above all a really nice person. I will miss her very much. I don't know how I could send a message to her family, but I hope they will know that she had a great friend in France who is devasted this morning. Thank you for having informed us, Lillian. I am sure you are feeling the same as me.

So shocking and sad. I can't get it off my mind. You could never know a nicer person. Her photography was such a pleasure to view; the flowers, the beach, the sea......

I am very sorry to know of Kathy Madden Gallagher having passed away. I believe that she commented on some of my artworks postings. I extend my condolences to her family and friends.
