My boy, Scout.

Pretty much finished. I have to work in my living room in the winter, which does not have good lighting - so some colors are not what I had planned exactly. Scout's a good dog - a Rhodesian Ridgeback - a gentleman. I have 7 critters around & am finally going to do their portraits. Oil on canvas, which I don't plan to do again. I'd rather do animals on board, something smooth. The canvas adds too much fabric texture unless I gesso the heck out of it. I like using oils but use the waterbase oils and can use either water or linseed oil to thin them with.
