one idea I might suggest to make them really stand out is don't use solid colors, put the acrylic paints you want to use on a flat scalpel, don't mix, they'll meld into each other as you slowly scrap along the surface, wish I had an immediate photo of what I mean to show an example, it was brillant work, I'll try to look for it and post back with it again

I really like that first one because of its asymmetry.

The middle one is too predictable.

The bottom lacks the exciting color to go with its form.
