Carole, I love this. I think you've done a fantastic job. It sets a nice mood..and has a nice classical feel to it. The shadows are subtle and the value changes are smooth and natural looking. This has lots of character and I sense emotion and passion in this piece. Amazing work!

i love this work - pastels? - for the subject & style. soft lighting, soft shadows. nice stuff. the only thing bothering me are the lines of the door. everything in the picture is manufactured and generally has sharp lines. you want to keep much of it soft. but the edges of the wood ought to run straighter or they look too much like they're melting. otherwise, nice!
