Well Thom, I'm still here in So Cal with the 100+ weather waiting for the cool?? down. Unfortunately the winds have picked up along with the heat. Not a good thing where I live.

Beautiful Yucaipa. Right below Oak Glen, with Yucaipa Ridge as my backdrop. Wild weather yesterday. From Beaumont just south of us to flash flooding in Forest Falls about 10 minutes east of me.

- My birdbaths turned into Saunas - My fan had a heat stroke - The birds won't land on the wires - The fog on the lake is steam. - Jogging is now in slo-motion

Seriously, It's 71 and raining. Last night it was 38. Life here in So Cal mountains (7000 ft altitude) has it's benefits.

Wish I could share.

Only place I can think of in So Cal at 7000 is either the top of My San J or half way up 138 before the summit at 8400 ?? Anyway...reading the paper this morning and the little pond we fish at, like this past Friday, had a lightning strike that hit someone there yesterday.. And to think I thought about going there yesterday
