Question About Fractals

Hi, I recently joined this site and I am slightly confused on which category fractals fall under. Would they be considered digital painting or 3d rendering? I've seen fractals posted in both categories, so I figured I would ask here. I've included a picture of one of my fractals, maybe that will help answer my question. Thanks!

Either category is fine for fractals at this time. We are working on updating our categories, where designs like fractals will have a better home in the future.
