I often wonder why people dislike cold....so much...I can put enough clothes to keep me warm....But when its hot i can only take off so much...what happen after that? In and out of AC which is very unhealthy .....
Tonight it is going to be down to 16F water froze....last night....so what....
I had heater going all day....as we speak i turned all off but my electric blanket....i cant stand sleeping in heated room...i crawl under the blanket and feel in heaven...
In the morning i get up flip the switch and go back to bed till room is warm...LOVE IT
There is much Nature beautiful Nature to be captured in a snow...Go out and capture it...Many things are going un-noticed that Lord put on the Earth ......maybe u can capture it with your eye and camera...
I know what you mean though about cold though. I remember camping and it was 30 degrees over night, it was cold. I got into the bag and got warm it was great. In the morning it was really cold and I could tell this by the dew drops on the inside of the tent and the bag by my feet was soaked wet, but I didn't care, cause I was about to have a cup of coffee.
I hear Colorodo is getting socked with about 4ft of snow, that is nuts. I was caught in a storm a few years back on the way back from Utah, ended up with 1 ft of snow, but I guess that is common in the upper elevations.
I love these webcams, every time a pretty scene presents itself I want to got there even more and that drives me.

Colorado is getting pounded.....I can understand those people who have to shovel snow..they hate it...I never showel it...and never will be...I will just roll in it...LOL Like when i was a kid..Would love to...do just that...
I am looking more from healthwise perspective...All germs develop and breed in steam bath states..those are S.Cali,Louisiana,Texas and Florida...LOL
Hahhahahhaa now i expect to get blasted from those...No matter what i will never live in Southern States....Actualy i am looking forward to my new plan to move to Tetons indefinitely...I am tempted to the offer from a friend....will see...

I am not sure if i could take at this age sleeping bag in a tent...But i took a lots in my life so i guess wont be a big deal....Body can take only so much...

I agree hot coco and marshmellow, fireplace,snow flakes, snowmobile, which i am invited by Cowboy friend just thsi evening...as a matter of the fact to go with him to yellowstone...I am thinking big time ...he said in January...and i got my boots ready...I wanna go so bad..I am only 548 miles away...
I realy realy wanna take this opportunity and go for 3 days snomobiling... I would have to fly to Jackson...and that is prob for my lens...carrying 600 mm on plane...its almost 20lb and then hassle getting through with it.. so i would have to take 300 mm which is okay case bears are hybernating...
But he garantee me to go to places where no Park Rangers will hassle me...and i be touching buffalo in a snow...I am dying to go...

That is where my love for snow comes from... Now sliding with a vehicle in a snow and ice is no suprise to me cause i was born in Sweden...and in my childhood time i learned about it...
One time i went to Calgorie in Canada and it was solid ice down town Edmonton....my Camaro slided like it was on ice skates...I didnt mind...But i was young and stupid those days..
There is beauty of snow and ugliness, specialy on streets of NY when snow is 3 days old..turn into black colours ...LOL
However i am dreaming to go to Yellowstone in January...Not to speak of Handsome looking cowboy tall 6'2" green eyes , salt and pepper hair...and hat..whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

Sound so great what u described Minerva...I have never had a chance to experience that kind a life....and by nature i am adventurous...and will die adventurous...I am a city gal..born in a city...but hated city since age of 6..always loved animals on farm..and always wanted to pat them from younger age...

A fluke shot, just as the branch crashed on the yard. Trees were falling down, branches crashing on fences etc.....oh what fun. Sounded like WWIII on the top half of the property...only open area where I didn't have to worry about something falling on me while I clicked away.
While we are just starting to cool off here in Florida, I am so looking forward to our first winter here in several years. BUT, if I wasn't here, I would be in Wyoming doing this and loving the snow just as well!! Don't ever pass up a ride on a snow machine Bianca!! You'll love it.
