In honor of our website's 8th birthday, we will be launching dozens of new features for ArtWanted.com on March 1st. Some of the new features that will be available on this date are:
- Canvas Prints - Through our print program, you will be able to sell quality canvas prints of your artwork up to 36" x 48" (rolled or mounted). This feature will be instantly available on over 25,000 existing images on our site.
- Image Sorting - You will be able to set the display order of the artwork in your portfolio.
- Private Galleries - Premium members will be able to setup 'Private Galleries' for family, friends, clients and personal use. These private galleries will be hidden from the public, so you can share special artwork with family/friends, upload files for clients to preview and/or use the image storage for your personal artwork archives.
- Updated Artist Bio - Each artist will have a full page to write a bio about themselves, upcoming shows and/or links to their favorite websites.
- Artist Blog/Journal - Premium members will have an optional blog/journal page on their portfolio to tell the world on what they are doing on a daily/weekly basis.
- Artist Slideshow - We have a new and improved slideshow page that will be available for all members. Grab some popcorn and watch the artwork slideshow's of your favorite ArtWanted.com artists.
- Faster Speeds - We are working on a new 'resizing engine' that will increase the quality of the images on our site, but lower the file size when images are uploaded. We are also working on code optimization to speed up all pages on our site.
- Improved Stats Reports - We will be updating our Premium member stats reports to include additional information on where the image hit came from. You will be able to see if your hits are coming from your portfolio page, Top Ten reports, random images or any of the other pages on our site.
- Better Artwork Categories - We will be improving the way we categorize the images found on our site to make it easier for users to find your artwork.
- High-Resolution Download - Print program members will soon have the ability to download the high-resolution files they have posted of their artwork. You will be able to download one single image, or all of your artwork. You can now use ArtWanted.com for backup file storage of your important artwork files.
- Much More! - The things above are just some of the updates we will have on March 1st. We have many other upgrades and bug fixes that we will announce when they go live.
