New 'Pics of the Day' Gallery

We are excited to launch a new section of our website today...The Pics of the Day Gallery.

This is a special gallery of artwork on our site that is selected by the members on a daily basis. Each ArtWanted.com member can add one artist per day to this new gallery. This is done by adding any image on our site to your favorites list.

PURPOSE OF THIS NEW GALLERY

The concept of this new gallery first started by Sher Richardson, who has now passed away. She started a new thread on the message boards each day to highlight members of the site and the artwork they create. Each member could then add to that thread by picking other artists/artwork from our site. This trend has continued even after her passing and has been a great way to see the artwork of many artists that may be hidden throughout our site. We have simplified the process to feature an artist and it should be a very popular area of our site.

HOW IT WORKS

To highlight a member of our site on our 'Pics of the Day' gallery, simply add them to your favorites list. Once you do this, there is a link that will say 'Add this Artist to the Pics of the Day Gallery'. When this link is clicked, they will be added to our new gallery. You are allowed one artist submission per day and can't select yourself. Each day you can return to this area of the website and see the featured artists.

We invite everyone to view and add to this new gallery on a daily basis. Please give us your feedback so that it can continue to improve, too. Enjoy!
