new work

I'm journeying into these kinda bizzare color schemes. The background is blurred sorta, but then the fore ground subjects I try to give a tromp l'oiel feel to it, while sticking to the not-so-ordinary subject matter.

I directing attention to the growing daisey in the light of the plastic moon. Respect to death.

Compared to the rest....is it worth the effort?

i really like the colors - very organic really and the shapes themselves look like entertwined arms in a way.

its odd. from the thumbnail the flower is very crisp against the blur and i really like it but when i open it big the flower too seems a bit blurred. real crispness in the flower - especially it being red would really make it pop against your background. i dont know where you're going with it and really you know what to do better than i could tell you -- oil painter i am not! i really like what you've made here tho! keep creating!!

I like the contrast of the background/foreground. The colors are great. Organic?...so much so that it looks edible! Find it very interesting, my thumb's up too.

This one is really interesting. I agree about perhaps sharpening the red of the flower for impact, other than that the look, texture and tone of the painting is quite intruiging.

Is that a little person sort of peeking out within the background by the moon or am I imagining it?

Very cool Adam, hope you don't mine me being so familiar.

I really like that the is so much to see in the image. it's unsual and alluring. it worth the effort if it engages you!
