3 strikes and your out

I think the site should have a rule - 3 comments that are lowball and insulting and you are off the site - paid or free - and the reading of that one condition made mandatory as part of the sign up process - such as copying and pasting it in to the sign up form.

It's hurtful to those who find their work raided and seems to give some sort of thrill to those who do it. There would be no warning - just a removal of the site and an email generated automatically informing them.

I agree, being a victum myself. It is very upsetting. I still can't figure out how to get rid of the bad comments either.

if you have been reading my post you would find that aw are working on the problem it just may take some time to complete

Pat if i was you i would leave them there so others can see this person and avoid him like a rash i know its hurtful to see the comments but al have to see and know what so can do

i have some on my work but wont take them down i wont the rest of aw to know about these people and hopefully they can avoid the same happening to them

hard to do but could be worth while

you have a wonderful heart greg...

I'd nominate you the umpire : )

Rusty Woodward-Gladdish 08 Feb 2005

I totally agree with Stan on this point. Leave the offending remarks where they are. Name and shame! Human nature being what it is I don't think they're going to stop!

Cheers

Rusty

Thanks Sher but I don't always have a good heart - more an alligator brain. I don't know about umpire, I think I might be ready to retire from the game.

I had become active on the site as an outlet for my work and I get caught up in the game - I want to be an AW cop just like I do when someone cuts me off in traffic and i want to flash a badge at them and pull them over - know what I mean?

Too absorbing.

Greg,

come sit on the sidelines with me..

::pats the bleacher with nice fluffy stadium seat:: : )

Observing makes things so much clearer...

stan jones 08 Feb 2005

Sher and Greg

i do have to agree some times it is easier to sit on the bench and watch but thats not how we are made you know it and i know it

we just like seeing people get hurt in anyway shape or form

so could i come and sit on this bench with you starting to get very worn out batting all the time cant keep hitting home runs for the team all the time

Greg Summers 08 Feb 2005

If you believe what you say Stan - stop rating and stop allowing rating - it isn't sitting ont he sidelines - it's living your convictions.

stan jones 08 Feb 2005

sorry Greg and SHer and any one else who has read this thread

made a typo mistake the the line should have been

we just DONT like seeing people get hurt in anyway shape or form

sher richardson 08 Feb 2005

I knew that Stan : )

Of the typo and not wanting people to get hurt.. its a good thing.. and commendable..

Always room on my little bench for friends and i have a lemonade and slimjims.... : )

Is there a way Artwanted can give some of us the power to moderate along with them. To help them tarck things such as these goofballs that do these sort of deeds
