my first entry in the contest

hello!

can I pick a painting from my portfolio to participate? I thought this could be illegal because they will recognize me...so what?

Yes, you can use any image from your portfolio if it's already online.

However, if you created new artwork for a specific contest, we do ask that you wait until after the contest results, before you add the image to your portfolio.
