Dont Even Think About it!!!!!!!

While trying to take picture of my most recent sculpture, a fairy cat.

Last time this happened I wasnt paying attention and she chewed the horn of my unicorn sculpture!

"No Houdini!!!! Dont even think about it!!"

Cant you just see the evil in this little green monster, you know she wants to tear it to shreds!

What have your pets done to your beloved works ???

Sweet little fairy cat!

My cockatiel, Bozo, did a "fly-by pooping" on a Marilyn Monroe pencil portrait I had done years ago. I also had a canvas that I had just finished in time for a show to be held the next day, leaning up against my living room wall, and my dog walked over, looked at it, and peed on it - I think it was the smell of the clear coat or something! Maybe he was just being an art critic!! LOL

In my farmhouse years ago, my cats used to sneak up to my second-floor studio to steal my brushes and chew them up - I had to remember to stash them in a cupboard (the brushes not the cats).

I don't think my horses ever did anything to my artwork, thank god! :)

I lost so many expensive bruhes to my cats as cat toys LOL Boogie especially loved to eat them! Now the brushes are always kept out of sight and reach of the kitties.

I usually have a layer of cat hair on the paintings.

I've already mentioned this before but Mister Kitty here smacks my easel around but only when I'm painting extremely fine detail.

Lol, cats can be great like that. I own two cats right now, Yari and Woody, although they havnt been responsible for any art damage directly There was a time though where I pulled out some artwork I was storing under my dresser only to find a dead mole that was rotting away and stuck to a piece of artwork because the blood had sopped through and dried there. I really need to keep my art off the floor lol.

My cats steal my gold and slver leaf!

they always seem to manage to sneak into my studio when i am concentrating (translate not paying THEM attention) and leaf is so featherweight they manage to waft it onto the floor and 'Kill' it into millions of completely unusable pieces in the blink of an eye -

The first time was funny . . .

Mummification of cats . . .hmm I wonder if that is a new idea . . .

Tigger my dads cat walks across my drawings leaving muddy paw prints, I know he has been on my drafting table there is orange fur on the pencil box, and I have jeard crash in the middle of the night Marauder, my daughters kitty craves attention, when he finds me sketching, and pounces on the art paper then launches himself from my art papers jumping and tumbling and play fighting with his fellow kitten companions, especially Domino. I can just see it now, Mr Kat, Front and Center, Apporach the witness bench Tell us now where were you the evening of the...,
