Winged Mer Color Suggestions/Crits

Here is a quick drawing of a winged mer...I redrew her about five times and so far I am pretty pleased with her. I am planning on enlarging the art and transfering it to illustration board to be painted. Any crits/ color suggestions would be great

I am thinking of her being blonde, seagreen wings, pink flowers, periwinkle tail, pink fins??

thanks

Very cute character design you have! :)I've never seen a mermaid with wings: it's such a fun idea! Definitely something a little different from what I'm used to anyway. I also like your idea for pink and seagreen: soft colors like that will probably go really nicely together. Not sure about the blonde hair...looking at her, I'm seeing something more like brunette actually. Regardless, just a very sweet design. :)

I have made a couple of copies of her. One image will be on 11 x 14 illustration board and I was thinking of painting in goauche (excuse the spelling, please), pearly pastels, pasel colored glitter, tiny pearls (fake) and small rhinestones.

I'll try a few versions of color in pinks, purples, one could be light blue, etc. I'm glad for all the suggestions. I think that my work disappoints people often because so many of my drawings are not colored, so I am glad for the feedback.

I am actually considering this drawing to use as my own tattoo, but smaller!
