When you upload a piece, you will have the option to put it in an already-created sub (or create a new subcategory).

For the pieces you have ALREADY uploaded, just go to manage your portfolio, and click on each piece to "edit". You will have the ability there to create a subgallery for it.

You will have to go to each individual piece and either create a subcategory for it or choose a sub to put it in.

If you are not a Premium member, I'm not sure if you can do subcategories. Hope this all makes sense! :)

I just put them into categories as the pictures fit..eg, flowers, birds, animals, places, people, etc etc. Then as you get more, you may start to sub categorise..but stick with the simples until you get too many for one are..then break it up... Thats all I do and it seems to work. The problem here is that if you make an error..you cannot correct it..like somehow an insect got into a separate category..and I have 2 insect groups with 1 insect in each...Grin!!! Just be careful and check when you download the photo to make sure it is correct as its fine to delete it straightaway and resubmit. Good Luck..just go the way you feel happy with and we will simply enjoy.

Thank you Maggie and Dawn for your useful instructions. I'll have a go anyway. Take care.
