Original Post: Rough-sketch turned fine-detail

This was just supposed to be a rough sketch of a tattoo design for a coworker. Got blown out of proportion. Decided to keep it and practice superfine line work. It is a picture drawn to represent heaven and hell... flames on one side, feathers on the other. The overall picture is a face, but that is not what I want to stand out. I want the women in the middle with the wings to be what first catches you're eye. Only when you stand back, should you be able to make out the face. How am I doing? Please critique. Thank you!
