I'm not familiar with that piece of work but Caravaggio was a great painter. The proportions of the head look off - the ear is too high up, the hair seems to be unattached to her head, too much shadow under her nose, the neck is very thick. There's no light in her eyes and she seems to be frowning - not sure if that's what you were after. Portraits are a pain. Otherwise, the skin tones fluctuate well - light source seems right. The dress is nice.
