Welcome / Introduction

Hi All,

My name is Andy Stuart, I've been a member of AW since 2005 and I think I'll be hanging around for quite some time yet. I live in Scotland so I'm surrounded by stunning landscapes that I enjoy photographing, I also visit the North East of England and always have my camera close at hand so I get a few shots down there as well.

I'd like to welcome you to the Landscape Photography Group. I am excited to see where this group idea goes. There are many fantastic artists here on ArtWanted and I know this group will be buzzing in no time! I hope people join in and add a little bit of info to their photographs (just stuff like where we are looking at).

Please introduce yourself ! Add your Landscapes at your leisure and please feel free to start those landscape photography topics here in the group, so we can all learn from each other.

Regards & Best Wishes

Andy S

Gordon Christie 27 Jul 2008

Hi, I'm Gordon Christie and I live in Scotland so I share that with Andy. I just like Art, music, writing - anything in those spheres. I play a bit of guitar, I paint a bit, sometimes I write, I draw, I do digital stuff with Photoshop. I'm not brilliant at any of them but I enjoy doing them all and hope that others can take something good from what I do. I'm concerned about climate change while accepting that it has happened many times in the past and will continue to do so. Hope you like some of my stuff - leave a comment, good or bad.

Steven Watson 09 Aug 2008

Hello, I'm Steve Watson and I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Not the ideal place for a photographer of natural landscapes, you might think. Yet I have easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and I'm not too far form the glorious Lake District. Scotland is a little further but is somewhere I love to be and, not surprisingly, some of my best work is of that very special place. The challenge of landscape photography is to view glorious scenery and decide what not to include in your picture. I look forward to enjoying your work here and I hope you like mine.

Well i'm not in England or Scotland but I have been there. They are both beautiful. I'm in Arkansas and I teach art and I love photography. I paint landscapes in many mediums and I'm blessed with a beautiful state and area to live in. It's nice to be part of this group. Thanks for forming it.......

I grew up and resided (I can't rightly say lived) near Lawrenceville, NewJersey, USA. I have lived in Mesa, AZ for the past 12 years and enjoy it very much (even in the Summer).

Ranald Dods 01 Nov 2008

Hey folks.

Just a word or two of introduction. I am Ranald and I stay in the Borders of Scotland. The country, scenery and environment are important to me and I hope that I can share the beauty of this corner of the world with you.

Hello, I live in Missouri, no spectacular landscapes around here, so I have to do with what is here. These Ozark hills are supposed to be the oldest mountains on the planet, which means they are mostly just bumps now. I escape once in a while...

George Wilson 21 Jun 2010

Hi, My name is George Wilson, I joined AW today 21 June 2010. I live in Florida and one would not think there are landscapes here. I am 50 miles fom the Atlantic Coast and only 83 feet above sea level, so no mountains here. My landscapes are done in infrared black and white. The local wildlife is done in color. Please feel free to visit my website at www.wilsonphotography.com

Greetings to all ~ While I'm "new" here, I'm not, .. just in spirit. It's that young-at-heart and child-like spirit that lives and is renewed with the sense of discovery and adventure out in Nature: all the right reasons for a life long passion with photography and painting. Out of this, " SERENITY SCENES" collection is created and continues as long as I draw breath. Love what you do ..... Do what you love ! shasta .
