THEME: Action Photography
ENTRY DATES: Jan 16 - Feb 14, 2010
VOTE DATES: Feb 15 - Feb 21, 2010

DESCRIPTION: This contest is for all the photographers on our site to submit an action photo. It could be sports related, cars, planes or any other "action" type of photo. Capturing movement and action is tricky and we want to see what you have caught on film (or a digital flash card).

RULES: The submission must be a photograph that you have taken yourself. Entry must fit the theme of the contest. No artwork for this contest, only photographs. No digital altering or filters of the photos allowed, except for small lighting adjustments that are applied to the entire image. Do not include your name or links in your entry description. Only one entry per person, so make them count!

CONTEST PRIZES:

1st Place - $20 or 6 Month ArtWanted.com Premium Membership

2nd Place - $10

3rd Place - $5

Image of a child jumping. I thought the timing was very important.I didn't want to catch him on the way up because that will show the physical effort.I felt that if I caught him just at the peak of his jump it will show the excitement and anticipation.
