Here's my entry for the orange contest. An oil painting I made with mostly different types of orange to give it hot fire-like feel.

"Fowl Forlorn" 16x20" acrylic on canvas. (C) Cara Bevan 2008. This Buff Orphington rooster was a favorite of mine for his gentle nature. He lived a hard life and died sadly and suddenly, but I'll always have this portrait I've done of him to remember him by.

I hope there's enough orange in this to qualify...........It's not a new painting but it's one that I was pretty pleased with!

This is an Original Watercolor Painting and a Cropped shot. I painted this work on Anna Maria Island in Florida one winter. I tried to express the warm climate and my impression of the Paridise Plant. I used many blends of Orange as you can see. c Rebecca Marona
