THEME: June Bride (Artwork) Contest
ENTRY DATES: Jul 5th - Jul 15th, 2006
VOTE DATES: Jul 20th - Jul 31st, 2006

DESCRIPTION: It's June again and it seems like everyone is getting married. Post your artwork/drawings of that beautiful June bride for everyone to see. This contest is just for artwork (painting, drawings, etc.) there is another contest for photography. Submit your artwork and you could be our next contest winner - good luck!

RULES: The artwork that is submitted must be of a bride/wedding, no photographs. Only one entry per person.

PRIZES: The 1st place winner of the contest can pick an item from the ArtWanted.com prize pack and will be displayed on our home page for a week. The top 4 winners will be entered in our monthly drawing for a $50 prize.

Submit your entry by replying to this message and attaching your contest entry. All entries will be hidden until voting begins. Good luck!

The title of my piece is "The Flower Bride of Camelot" and is a combination of graphite, pastels, and ink on board. It was inspired by the legends of King Arthur and represents Gunivere on her wedding day.

"Gloria oh Gloria" I have wonderful sisters-in-law, but this one is "special"...she prints out all of my drawings and keeps them in a binder!

I originally titled this "Spring Bride," but technically the first 21 days of June ARE spring, so i guess she got married before the Solstice. It's Colored Pencils.
