Emanuela Bosio

She's born in Milan,Italy, in 1968. Married and mother of 3 children,Manuel,Alessandro,Michael. She began her art carreer painting on fabrics,witch is not an easy technique because it required precision and not sketch. Her first paintings were on black silk. She first worked for a very famous boutique in Bergamo by painting haute couture ties. In '96 she moved to USA by her brother Riccardo who opened an italian restaurant in Baltimore,MD,called Sotto Sopra,and she did all the interior decoration. She as worked in the Washington and New York area for 2 years doing paintings and decorations by commission. After wards,she moved to Miami where she had the opportunity to attended affresco classes. After 6 months,she whas called by a famous contractor,Ugo Colombo,in order to fresco the lobbyof the Santa Maria building,in Brickell Ave. Works performed in Miami

Her art work as been published on AD,Florida Architecture,Vanity Fair,Selecta,Miami Herald, Miami Today. She co-worked with Jesus Fuertes,Picasso's disciple,Ellie Shneiderman,famous sculptress,Emilo Cianfoni,the director of the Vizcaya museum restauration.She's been selected to participate at the ART EXPO in New York, thanks to her unique technique(canvas prepared for fresco and painted with lime and oil paint).Her paintings have been sold at privates,art galleries in Buenos Aires,Canada,Japan,Cayman islands. She's creating a new line of art accessories,called 'the Monkeys'(jewellery,ties hand painted, hand bags painted and covered with gems,key rings hand painted) Her artwork have been shown on tv the 10 of february with all lot of success.
