Gary Tiplady Left school where he went onto catering college and after that gained vast amounts of experience working in some of the best hotels in the north east .he also worked at the world famous Gleneagles hotel in Scotland, which he gained vast and varied cooking skills. He cooked for, and met royalty, showbiz stars and sports celebrities along with political leaders. Whilst participating in his profession he started to teach himself the art of lard modelling With no formal training in the arts, Gary Crafted his original work in lard and margarine made in the many hotel kitchens that he worked as a very popular top chef, his work graced the tables of many grand company banquets and has been feature on many television shows. Documentaries and far-reaching local news He has now turned his hand at sculpting with galvanised wire mesh Just recently crafted a swan for the anchor home in North Tyneside and know sits gracefully in the residents day room I accept commissions and I give private tuition and available to give talks and demonstrations to small groups All work displayed is for sale unless stated otherwise.
