I am Mara aka Lunara, a graphic designer and artist painter.. Painting has been my passion since i was a child..
I have worked in the field of editorial Design, Animation, Illustration and Photography.
The subject of my paintings is the total expression of my Being, which includes feelings, emotions, spirituality, magic and fantasy. Inspiring images come often to my mind, mainly when I meditate.
Color is very important in my work, i love the vibration that contrasting colors awake.
The way that prevails in my painting is the oil.
The Moon is one of the most frequent topics in my work due to everything what it represents for me, its influence in any existing life, its magic, its purifying energy, spirituality, mysticism...
My favorite artists are: Frida Kahlo, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, wonderful surrealists!, Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Van Gogh, Chagall, Monet, and a long list of marvelous contemporary authors.
