I am a Northern Irish Artist living and working in newcastle Upon Tyne. I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2002, the education I received there was invaluable and enabled to define my artistic intentions.

my artists statement in relation to the works shown here:

'Moving from country to city, and its associated loss of identity forced the realisation of insignificance akin to the theory 'rat-race'. In a sense we are distinguished by flesh and appearance, yet faced with the masses that make up a thriving urban environment, it becomes clear we are a part to the greater whole, nothing more than the flesh that makes us, and come to that, all else living. The digital medium was chosen due to its existance relying entirely upon the very fact that mankind is greater than man, and the above idea that alone we are no greater than any other piece of organic matter.’

I have had my work incorporated in Exhibitions in Sunderland, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Birmingham and am currently applying for an Individual Artists Award to enable me to produce a solo exhibition in London.
