Hi! My name is Kat. I'm 21 years old. I'm living in a small town in Russia.
I'm studing the design of interior in the Institute and I like to draw.
In the future I would like not only to make beautiful and professional interiors but also to draw illustrations, book covers, make characters design and ets. I always have a lot of plans on my near and far future but I'm very fickle person so sometimes I make some corrects in my plans and wishes.
I like to draw with traditional techniques especially with simple black pencil. To paint I prefer in Adobe Photoshop with my Wacom Tablet, but also I'm able to use aquarelle, gouache, color pencils...
My favourite styles of drawing and painting are realism and cartoon and comics.
My favourite genres are portrait and illustration.
I like (it's my passion) to draw people. The architecture, nature, animals I draw only as additional things to my human pictures.
My artworks are always connected with my passion for some novel or movie or all that. For example last spring I took a great interest in "The Phantom of the Opera" movie. Now I'm interested a lot in the pirate and sea adventures and the culture and history of 9th century. I try to find harmonical combination of these different things in my artworks. But I also give an attention to my own heroes and worlds (fantasy and magical realism).
I like writing. Early I wrote different fanfics (themes - characters of Marvel Comics Universe and "The Phantom of the Opera"), often with my own characters. I like to write humorous stories and romance. Sometimes I leave some writings not ended. Now I'm working on the plot of my future short adventure novel. Hope I'll succeed in it.
My other hobbies: reading (I like english literature of 19th century), singing (only for myself, because I can't sing so good as I want), listening to music (now it's Anastacia, Mylene Farmer, different movies OST - but my musical preferences are always changing), Disney and 2d graphic cartoons and animation, travelling (I've been visiting many countries and I'm interested in the culture and history of other nations).
I'm good positive person. Every day I try ro make my life better and better :)
