I am a stay-at-home-mom of 4 and married to my wonderful husband since Valentine's Day of 1997.
I am a self taught, self-paw pencil artist since the age of 8. In my spare time, if any, I enjoy working with ink, pencils, prisma colored pencils and oil pastels.
I first started off by drawing cartoon characters from Disney's Children's Books, etc. ("Yogi Bear" to be exact!) Can you believe that? I laugh at that everytime I tell my story!
The only art classes I have taken were back in high school and although I did learn a bit about famous artists, I was too advanced for the basic routine class activities.
I also enjoy black and white photography, but the more talented side of me prefers drawing from photographs of celebrity portraits, female nudes, and anything else that captures my "tempting eye" from original photographs.
Did I mention that the eyes alone are my favorite subject to draw as well?
What's new? In 2005, Just by "word of mouth", I have recently started free hand painting murals and signs for local smaller businesses.
